Beau & Nancy Graduate

Dear Momma and Dad,

Well, here we are…in the real world! I can’t believe Nancy and I finally graduated. Boy did it take forever! That last year in college seemed to go by so slow. After Bryce and Felicia graduated and moved out, Nancy and I had the house to ourselves. It was so strange being there all alone. We were so used to having two other people share it with us. But we carried on as usual, things were just a little quieter. To be honest, it felt like we were married already! Nancy is a wonderful cook, so she cooked all of our meals. We even shared our meals together…even though our schedules were so different.

Since it was our senior year, our studies took up most of our spare time. But when we weren’t studying, we got to spend a little time together. Usually we just sat together and watched TV, sometimes we had a LAN party and played together on the computers. We continued to use the bubble blower outside, but it just wasn’t the same without two other people blowing bubbles as well. So, normally we just cuddled and watched TV together!

And no, Momma, I don’t need another “Woohoo Talk”. Nancy and I don’t do that…we don’t even kiss! We’re waiting for marriage, so you have nothing to worry about!

So anyways, I’m glad you both could come over for our graduation party. You’ve got to be getting tired of graduation parties! But it meant a lot to us to have you there. I know you all weren’t thrilled that I majored in art, but I know I can find a good job with the local museum or someplace like that. So, Dad, how’s it feel to have all your kids college graduates?!

  1. Parties, parties, and more parties, when will they end? I love seeing new couples in their small new homes, I think it’s so cute!
